Conflicts & Compensation

Draft — pending legal review. Last updated: July 2026.

Founder ownership. David Garcia Montoya may own securities or financial instruments discussed in Salox research and may buy, sell or otherwise modify such positions before or after publication.

Timing conflict. Readers may receive information after David or another Salox principal has entered or exited a position and may therefore face different market prices, liquidity and risks.

Reputation. Salox may benefit reputationally or commercially when investment activity associated with its founder performs favorably. This creates an incentive to present favorable results.

Platform compensation. If David is eligible for compensation under a third-party social-investing program, the platform may compensate him based in whole or in part on assets associated with users who independently elect to use the platform's copy functionality. Such compensation creates an incentive to attract and retain copiers. Salox and David will disclose any such compensation prominently on any page referencing the applicable profile.

No referral compensation. Salox does not currently receive compensation for directing website visitors to open brokerage or trading accounts. If this changes, the arrangement will be disclosed before any compensated link is used.

Research conflicts. Salox research is not necessarily independent investment research under any regulatory definition. Authors may have financial, professional, commercial or personal interests in subjects discussed.

Data providers. Data providers and analytical vendors may impose limitations or have commercial relationships with Salox. References to them do not constitute endorsements.

No fiduciary duty. Disclosure of a conflict does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship.
